Biography + Curriculum Vitæ/Resumé

Born in Montreal, Canada. Hyperactive by nature, Camille Moussette likes the blurry connections between humans, atoms and bits. He holds a Physics degree, a bachelor in Industrial Design, a Masters in Interaction Design and a Ph.D. in Industrial Design. Camille joined Apple (California, USA) in 2013 and currently works in the Apple Design Group. Some of his contributions can be found in the Apple Watch and iPhone. Camille's prior work experience includes microelectronics R&D (IBM and NRC Canada), web consulting and various involvement in projects ranging from architectural snow structures in Scandinavia and Italy, to exploring the design of new multimodal and spatial interactions at Microsoft Research. His Ph.D. thesis titled Simple Haptics explored the intersection of Interaction Design and Haptics with the objective to make haptics approachable and sensible to designers. Camille taught classes in Experience Prototyping, Hardware Sketching and Design Ethnography at the Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden from 2007 to 2012.
